About

Executive Chef Kerry Sear offers a Pacific Northwest menu, combining the highest quality market-driven ingredients with global influences. ART is inspired by the Hotel's collection of works by the Northwest's foremost contemporary artists, its proximity to Seattle Art Museum and Chef Sear’s creative flair. We welcome you to receive warm and thoughtful service at one or all of the restaurant’s four distinctive venues: the Main Dining Room, offering the feel of approachable everyday dining; the Counter, for an interactive culinary experience; a Private Dining Room, for a customized dining special event; and the lively cocktail ART Lounge for an evening of urban libations.

counter

An interactive dining experience, ART's Counter is a creative venue for inventive meals any time of the day. Behind the lively Counter, chefs are slicing charcuterie, rolling fresh sushi and making inventive soups and salads, all made-to-order and delivered to your table. Those on the go will appreciate its dedication to convenience combined with thoughtful service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at chef's stations, with a barista on hand to provide custom coffee creations.

wine wall

The wine list has been developed with approachability always in mind. ART Restaurant offers a unique program that allows guests to sample over 160 wines by the glass. For a minimum purchase of two glasses, guests are invited to sample any bottle from the world-class wine list, including a selection of the finest Pacific Northwest gems and vintage releases, as well as hard-to-find cult wines and popular labels. Enhance your ART experience and sample wines you might not have originally considered.

private dining room

ART's Private Dining Room seats up to 16 comfortably and features wood and glass pocket doors. Black and white photographs of the 16 Pacific Northwest artists featured in the Four Seasons collection, taken by photographer Mary Randlett, grace the walls in the Private Dining Room. These artists’ work is displayed throughout the hotel. The Private Dining Room is considered a unique part of the restaurant and provides a light and airy quality while exhibiting an intimacy and connection with the main dining room. Guests are also able to fully customize their dinner experience.

design

With a setting as thoughtfully designed as a work of art, the restaurant's interior is a highly detailed sculpture featuring woods native to the Pacific Northwest. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. Continuing with the Pacific Northwest elements found in the lobby and other parts of the hotel, the restaurant utilizes woods native to the Pacific Northwest including American Chestnut and Ice Birch. The maitre d’ desk is a 300-year-old tree trunk made of Cedar.
